Day 8 - june 6

On route to Silver Lake. Fog lifted today and it was a nice start but soon became drizzly. Beautiful vistas though and lots of pictures today. We met 3 guys going east also who were from Syracuse, NY. They went ahead and were maybe going to be at Silver Lake tonight. When we arrived at Silver Lake, we found it closed still and opening the 11th. Déjà vu from last trip :-(. Who pulled in behind us but The boys from Syracuse! They had checked out another spot off route that was closed also! So 4 more miles up in the snow and 1 really nice one down and we arrived at a ski resort! More tomorrow...time for bed!
