Hanksville - June 18

Stayed at RedRock camping where they advertise shady sites - yes the sagebrush was a bit higher! Hot and first mosqutoes in force. Lots of water on lawn areas! Made steak and veggie stirfry. Running low on gas and butyl/propane mix not as available as hopefully it will be more east of here. Glad we stocked up in Torrey. Met a couple bikers, 2 cousins traveling by Harleys and Mike from that group is writing an article for Hog Magazine on his travels. Met a group of geology students who were doing surveys of Henry Mountain. One was from Maine originally and came over to say "hi"...Josh Michaud. Another couple from Switzerland- bjorg and Jaqueline traveling opposite direction from us. We also got to do laundry and showers after 3 days! Always a welcome event!
