Day 17. -June 15

Wow! Again more amazing scenery that once again changes so quickly- pastural with far off vistas of the cliffs and canyons. Ranches with cattle and horses everywhere. The cattle can sometimes be loose and in the road. Hasn't happened yet but we watch for them. James and I rode together most of today. Even with the weight of our gear lifted (thanks so much again Eric!), it still was a grueling 4mi/hr. pace and multiple stops. James couldn't understand why no one would stop for us. I had to keep telling him to stop sticking out his thumb!
