Leaving pueblo

The Brown family - member of their family has diabetes -their cat Molly Brown! We have known of 2 cats that have had diabetes. What is the epidemiology of this? This lady prefaced her concern about her cat with an apology for putting in the same category. Having an animal ourselves, we understand how they are so important to our human family members when it comes to their health and welfare. I imagine that when they find a cure, it will translate to animals. Maybe that understanding will come first after they figure it out in our wonderful mice!
