While I got somewhat caught up with the maps and where we have been Mike was packing up and met some more nice people. Leslie and Tim Ireland of Boulder driving a very cool VW 4wd van gave a donation to the ride and spoke with Mike for a time. Thanks!!! Also on the way to Sargent in a small town called Parlin, Connie Brashear made a donation to the ride as well. She has T1D also. Thank you and we hope along with you, they find a cure very soon. We talked about the pump with her and also the continuous glucose monitor and how Rebecca really wouldn't be able to do this ride without it. I still get nervous in the middle of the night after a big ride but the cgm gives an added security.
