Day 63- July 31-

Today we woke to a beautiful morning and headed into Henderson for
breakfast and tour of city. While maneuvering through the downtown
area, I headed over to a construction site where workers were
repairing utilities in the street and asked a man about breakfast
stops. He mentioned a couple places and we made it around the hole in
the ground to the Downtown Diner. When we got over there, Brandon
Hunter, the man who suggested the diner met us there with his camera
and wanted a picture of us. He said he was contacting the local paper
about us. Sure enough a few minutes later a reporter was over! When we
finished breakfast and started out of town, these 2 nice ladies came
out to greet us. They were from the main street development office and
hoped we could spend some more time on their town and thanked us for
coming. They mentioned the bike store which wasn't on our map, so we
headed there for some help on the kids bikes. That certainly would
mean more time in town!
