Day 90 - Aug 27

Riding into the fort's grounds we learned about the battles that
occurred higher up from the fort. Even though the French were out
numbered 5 to 1, they managed to fend off the English and repeated
this again. Thanks to the Pell family, this fort has been beautifully
restored back to nearly its original state. We enjoyed the cool "fall
like" day and took in a bit if the history of this beautiful spot
along Lake Champlain.
