July 8 - to Scott City

James and I decided to stay behind at lunch and swim in the town pool
and wait for the winds to change! They never did but the break was
nice. Beautiful town pools in these parts that help to keep the kids
cool in these 100 deg. days. Leoti was the town and we still had 27
miles to go. Slow going when we started back up then James kicked it
in 12 miles before Scott City and had to work to keep pace! I think
the idea of another pool got him through the rest of the pedal!
