were 3 killer hills and several others that made us all pretty tired
by the end of the day. Even though we had a great ride today, it was
our toughest day mentally. In Kentucky and Indiana we have experienced
many dogs being unleashed and chasing us down the road. We had an
unfortunate incident today when this occurred and a car was coming the
other way. Rebecca and I witnessed it and James came upon the scene
with Mike. We were devastated and are still a bit shook up. Poor James
kept punching his bike because he felt so badly for the family and
other dogs. It's horrible and no ones fault...just what an accident
is. So heartbreaking none the less.
