July 4th.! Happy 4th of July everyone!

Realized I didn't take pictures of camp spot last night but it's
probably because we really didn't have a site! We got in late after
our 75 mile day. PB's for the kids! Good job and James stayed ok his
bike even after we stopped for the day, scoping out the marina at the
pueblo state park. The campground was full but the Pat and Joyce
Harris family across from where we sat and also the site where campers
had reserved but not occupied yet, introduced us to their friends,
Chuck and Nola Clark. Nola said just set up on our site and use our
table! Sweet people and we had a good stay there! Got up fairly early
to get into Pueblo for breakfast and start our layover in the city.
Met John Howell...quite the character and Bob Kennedy our friend from
Rochdale (bicycle maniac also!) will be the same in 10 years or so
too! John made reference to being old a couple times, so I asked of
course! 71! Wow...an inspiration and reason to keep biking and maybe
for some out there to start! He sponsors different bike teams in
Portland and just loves to bike! Pleasure meeting him!
