My name is Rebecca and I have type 1 diabetes. My family and I are riding 4400 miles across the US to raise money and awareness for diabetes research at The Jackson Laboratory. There is hope that a cure is just around the corner and within my lifetime.
Every dollar counts. Please help.
The Jackson Laboratory is researching diabetes at the genetic level and are making progress every day.

Your trip has insprired us...George and I took the tandem out for a ride to the reservoir tonite. It is George's new passion--twice a day we ride! Haven't totaled 10 miles yet, but we feel like we're right alongside you.
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you want me to get in touch with my cousin, who lives in Bratenahl, Ohio (first town east of Cleveland on Lake Erie) if you're going to pass that close to the city.
Keep up the great work-we're more proud and impressed with each passing day.
